Boer
company was founded in Pordenone in 1928 when Luigi together with his
two sons started producing concrete pipes and products for the building
industry.
The
sons continued this activity until 1952 when one of them, Francesco,
moved to the outskirts of Pordenone and continued his own business setting
up his own company under the name of ‘Boer Francesco once Luigi’.
The
company continued its activity under this name till 1971, when it was
moved to Cordenons where Francesco together with his son Mario, under
the new name of Boer Francesco and draughtsman Mario s.n.c’, continued
the production of concrete products, increasing the range of items with
new products such as: Imhoff tanks, monolithic tanks, special wells,
increasingly meeting the needs of water depuration according to the
law.
The
company increased the range of items introducing retail products for
the building industry such as: pvc pipes, polyethylene pipes, galvanized
and cast iron traps, insulating traps, covers, garden furnishings etc...
In
1988 the production of depuration systems was diversified and a new
company ‘Boer Depurazioni
s.r.l’ was set up. This company is still producing
and selling systems for water treatment. Mario’s daughter, Elena,
who is a biologist, deals with the ecological and environmental aspect
of the company. She is responsible for the engineering and management
of the depuration systems as well as for the laboratory analysis.
Mauro, Francesco’s nephew, who is a draughtsman like his father,
has been working for the company since 1988. He looks after the technical
department as well as the production department.
In
2004 the company changed its legal name and its title back to ‘Boer
Francesco s.r.l’.
STAFF
Boer company employs two lorry drivers, ten production workers, three
warehouse workers and fork-lift workers, a technician, besides the administrative
staff.
PRODUCTION
SITE
The plant is in Cordenons and its products can be delivered with the
company’s own means of transport. There is a truck and full trailer
crane, a bascule, besides smaller machines used for local deliveries.
FOREIGN BUSINESS
Through Boer Depurazioni,
Boer Francesco s.r.l has already developed some business relationships
with Turkish and Croatian companies for some years, interested in the
installation of depuration tanks.
Boer Francesco s.r.l has also developed excellent relationships with
Austria and East Europe, above all with Hungary and Bulgaria.
Grease / oil separating tanks have been successfully installed in Instanbul
and Azerbaijan.
